We have had the warmest winter this year, aside from a few freezing cold weekends the temperatures have been tolerable and there has been almost no snow here in New Jersey. We actually ended up taking a vacation so the kids could go play in the snow. We all ended up being sick during it and unfortunately it just didn’t go as planned. Always happens like that, right?
Anyway, we are SO ready to move into spring! My first task of each season change is to clean out the boys closets and dressers and pack away anything too small or off season. We’ve been blessed for many years to have a constant stream of hand me downs from both family and friends, but now that our oldest son is 4 it seems like they wear the same sizes longer and the hand me downs are less. I’m not complaining though, I rarely shop for new clothes for our boys and was so excited to get out and do just that this week. I headed to OshKosh B’gosh and loaded up on adorable t-shirts, pants and bathing suits. You always hear people complain that boys clothes are no fun to shop for, but I beg to differ. I found the cutest patterns and prints for the boys, seriously look at this outfit. They have some great outfits for Easter too.
Speaking of Spring and Easter, what are your plans? We’ve got so many exciting camping trips and house projects in the works! Not to mention those constant outdoor play dates that all parents look forward to this time of the year. I just love when the warmer weather and sunshine rolls around, everything feels so new and exciting.
