As soon as Fall rolls around my dreams of spending our lazy afternoons and evenings in cozy jammies take over. In full disclosure I do not like wearing jeans, so i’m either in leggings or jammmies when hanging out at home and I dress my kids the same way. I especially cringe at the thought of wearing jeans while sleeping so it’s just easier to to keep my little ones in baby soft cotton or fleece jammies if we are home all day since they both still nap.

With the holiday season upon us and two little boys I love dressing them in coordinating jammies to help celebrate the holidays. Right now they’re both in their skeleton jammies napping away on this cold, rainy Saturday before Halloween. Last week we headed to Carter’s to stock up on more of their adorable seasonal pajamas. We picked out a few different styles for the Christmas and winter season including 2 piece and 4 piece sets as well as some of their cozy fleece one pieces. Blake is at the stage where he is starting to care about what he wears, he prefers outfits and pajamas with dinosaurs of course and he loved looking around Carter’s and picking his own sleepwear out.

Once bedtime rolls around we usually change the boys into the warmer pajamas and I think this is my son’s favorite part of the day. He’s a cozy, snugglebug after my own heart! There is really nothing cuter than seeing my two little boys in their matching pajamas and getting in extra snuggles before bed.

I have big plans for our holiday card this year that will involve matching pajamas from Carter’s. I’m just keeping my fingers crossed that my 1 year old will sit still long enough for what I have in mind. It’s not likely but either way I know the pictures and ultimately the card will be adorable!
