I’m so excited to share the “after” of our master bedroom nook with you tonight! This is one of my favorite spaces in our home. As I mentioned in the before post, I’ve partnered with Raymour & Flanigan who have kindly provided the furniture to complete our space. All opinions and design are my own.
We are so thrilled with how the room turned out! In the last post I mentioned how we are committed to living minimally in our new home and I can’t even begin to tell you how refreshing this change has been for us. With less clutter there is such a reduction in my stress levels. Less time spent cleaning up means more time to spend with my family. The furniture we chose from Raymour & Flanigan really reflects our current style and theme of living minimally but comfortably. We didn’t want the room to feel so minimal that it was boring, I think the pieces we chose compliment the space perfectly.

This loveseat is incredibly comfortable. It’s been a favorite hang out spot for our 4 year old, perfect for story time before bed. It has also made my late nights of working a little more cozy. The loveseat is also available as a couch so it would work great in a living room too.
We chose this side table because we love the rustic look of it. The basket below it is currently empty but will soon be filled with cozy blankets now that the Fall weather has arrived.
I’m still loving how this spray painted hutch turned out and am very grateful we didn’t end up giving it away. The large mirror and vases are the perfect decorative pieces. I love the look that their gold tones bring into the space.
Next week i’ll be sharing the final, full reveal of our completed master bedroom with you, but for now I hope you are inspired by our makeover to live simply and fully. Thank you to Amanda and Joe from Amanda Smyth Photo for the gorgeous photos!

Love the neutral color scheme, and the decluttering is definitely freeing up our stress levels as we prepare to sell our home.

I love the idea of minimalism too – I’m constantly striving for this but no sooner do I get close, I end up gaining clutter again!
