Kindergarten Toolkit
With my oldest son entering Kindergarten this year this has been a fun and invaluable item in our home. It contains flashcards, chalk, dry erase board and a guide book for parents which includes suggested activities and instructions for at-home teaching. My son loves the toolkit and uses it on an almost daily basis.
eat2explore Box
The eat2explore boxes are a unique way for children to have a hands on experience of learning about other countries and cultures. Each box contains recipes specific to 1 country as well as some of the ingredients needed to make the recipes. They also include a flag pin, fact sheet and activity for each country. Since we love to travel these boxes are perfect for our family. I love gifts that include an activity that can be done as a family!
Kiwi Co Boxes
We were recently introduced to Kiwi Co and my kids are obsessed with them. They are a monthly subscription box that aims to make STEAM activities engaging and fun for children. They offer different activity boxes suitable for ages 0-16+. Each box contains 2-3 activities or projects. You can get your first month free by clicking here.
Ninja Course
This unique and fun gift will surely be a crowd pleaser for kids of all ages! We love it too even as adults. Our kids and their friends use it often and it’s a great way to get your kids outside all year long.
Relay Phone
It’s hard to deny that most kids these days are asking Santa for a phone. Relay has come up with the perfect solution that makes a phone accessible to kids of all ages, but removes the temptation of games and internet usage- the screen free smartphone! We got it for our Kindergarten son as an extra layer of safety in an emergency. He can use it by simply pressing a button to call us. When connected to the app on my phone I can also track location. The great part about these phones is that they are waterproof and pretty indestructible. You don’t have to worry about your children dropping it. A great idea and great gift on all fronts!
LEGO
We love LEGO’s in our household (who doesn’t?!) They are the perfect blend between fun toys and creative learning. They keep our kids busy for hours upon hours and we are always amazed at how they boost their self confidence when they make their LEGO creations. From basic blocks to disney creations, dinosaurs, Harry Potter and more- LEGO is a great gift to give kids of any age.
Brain Blox
I am SO excited to give these to my children on Christmas. My boys love nothing more than to build and create and so this will be the perfect gift for them. Brain Blox encourage open ended play and I love that they are all wooden!
Massive Monster Mayhem Toys
Seriously, what little boy wouldn’t love these?! My two are always wrestling or pretending to be super hero monsters of some sort and so when I came across these I knew they would be perfect. I think these will be even more fun when we set up our bounce house and let the boys play with these inside of it!
Here are some of the best deals we’ve seen on our favorite gifts:
In addition to the gifts mentioned above we love to gift our children books and experiences, whether it’s a museum pass or a trip somewhere! What are your little ones getting this year?
