Now that the weather is cooling down and the darker day of winter are approaching you might find yourself wondering what to do with your family on a Friday night. Friday nights are the most cherished nights in our household, especially during the winter. It’s a night to get really creative and make some extra special memories with the kids. As you can see above we tend to bring the bounce house in on those cold winter nights, something our kids absolutely love!

It may sound like a cliché, but movies have always been an excellent way to spend time with the family. Whether streaming videos at home or going to the cinema, movies are a home run on Friday’s.
- Go Bowling
Bowling is the perfect family activity for Friday night. It’s hard to find a person that does not enjoy bowling once they give it a try, even little kids are able to bowl with the help of bumpers.
- Make Pizzas
Pizza and Friday night are synonymous. A unique approach is actually to make your own pizzas at home with the family. If it’s still warm enough out we love grilling our pizzas. Have the kids help out by adding their own toppings.
- See a Comedy Show
Family-friendly comedians have become a growing trend in the comedy community. You can even find Christian comedians that have comedy just right for family night.
- Visit a Planetarium
Planetariums are a fun place to visit with the family. Children enjoy seeing space up close and personal.
- Game Night
This is another classic family idea that has lost its appeal for many modern-day families. However, board games and card games are still as entertaining as they have always been.
- Go to an Arcade

This is an activity that is fun for the kids, yet you don’t really need to spend any money. It is also perfect when trying to prepare for Christmas—you can see what they really like and have them start writing down their Christmas list.
