We’ve partnered with JOHNSON’S® to talk about our favorite parenting moments. We often reflect on the big moments like the first steps and first birthday, which are quite exciting milestones but to be honest it’s the little moments with our boys that constantly have my husband and I amazed and entertained.
At 3 and 10 months our two boys have big personalities and they are constantly cracking us up, especially watching the dynamic between the two of them. Our favorite memories will be the ones like today, our oldest was taking swimming lessons and me and the baby were watching. Our son was having a blast swimming (total shocker!) and kept looking at the baby to make sure he was watching him. When he swam over to the side of the pool he said “I want Leify to come in with me”. Total heartmelt! As a big brother he’s so great, he’s always watching out for his little brother and wanting to play with him. It’s those little moments that make me the happiest.
We’ve been going on a lot of hikes and fishing trips lately and our oldest son keeps us entertained by telling us all about the dinosaur bones he finds in the woods and river. It’s so amazing to watch his imagination. He’s constantly picking up sticks and pretending they are dinosaur bones, rocks are dinosaur food and he constantly spots sharks in the river. Our little guy has been loving his fishing trips with Daddy and it’s just the sweetest to see him hanging out in the baby carrier watching the water go by.
There are just too many little moments that steal our hearts everyday, whether it be our oldest son randomly telling us that he loves us or that we are doing a “great job”, or those late night feedings that still happen on occasion with our little guy. They are exhausting now but I know all too soon I will be missing them. What are you recent favorite moments with your #littlewonders ? We’ve been so inspired by JOHNSON’S® to not let these little moments pass us by. Be sure to check out their new commercial here and be sure to check them out on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
