It’s hard to believe that we will soon be celebrating my husbands 4th Father’s Day! Yesterday my parents watched the kids while we went to our other house to finish moving our stuff out (only took us 6 months, ha!) and while we both enjoyed the car ride without a screaming baby and talkative three year old we just couldn’t wait to pick them back up. It’s funny how much things have changed since having children, especially my husband.
He’s the kind of Dad that works extra hard to provide for his kids, constantly takes the kids on adventures and always helps me out when needed with the kids. My biggest and first memories of him as a Dad were in the few months after our first son, Blake was born. Blake was the world’s worst sleeper, and by that I mean there were multiple wake ups each night-sometimes every 1-2 hours and that continued on for months and months. I was so getting so burnt out and exhausted from the wake ups and Craig would recognize that so for 2 months straight he got up with Blake every single time (it was easy for this arrangement because Blake was taking a bottle of breast milk). I know, I am so lucky!
He lives for our boys and we have so much fun raising them together. We are super excited for Father’s Day this year and have some big, surprise plans for him. I nearly teared up when I watched this video . Seriously, there is nothing sweeter than watching the man you love be a father to your children!
