I can hardly contain my excitement for Fall! It is my absolute favorite time of the year, I love the cooler weather and excitement leading up to all of the holidays. Once we had children my love for Fall grew even bigger than before, what is better than the excitement of your little ones while they decide what to be for Halloween, pick apples and exploring the beautiful scenery together?!

We decided to sit down with our oldest son and see what he wanted to add to our Fall bucket list this year, so together we came up with this:

– apple picking
– hike Bushkill Falls
– family anniversary trip to the Poconos
– pumpkin picking
– eat lots of pie (Blake’s idea!)
– family trip to Salem, MA to explore the witch museums
– go on a hayride
– plant our Fall garden
– corn maze
– make homemade pumpkin play dough
– photo shoot with kids and fall scenery
– keep our soup Sunday tradition going strong

We are still adding items to our list but can’t wait until the Fall-like weather is here for good and we can start checking these bucket list items off our list. We’re in New Jersey and it has been HOT the past few weeks, but soon enough the cooler weather will arrive. I love that we live in an area that gets to fully experience each and every season.
